Vita Cucina in Crescent City

Stopped in for breakfast on the way to the Redwoods. Great, quick service and handmade food. It’s a bakery, but was happy to see they press fresh juices and had some nice options for breakfast that didn’t have too many carbs! Would come back!

Love their juices! Even though I do wish there were more options. Great menu choices for those who want to live healthy. Excellent vegan choices! It has easily become one of my regular lunch spots!

Hands down, the best breakfast burrito I have ever eaten. I got the bacon as they were out of sausage. Perfect size and balance of flavors. Fresh. People who work there are totally chill. Too bad I am just passing through.

Food was exceptionally good. Ordered the special vita sandwich, good and hearty, served on homemade bread and a bowl of the vegan tomato soup. The soup was outstanding but it really complimented the sandwich. For this being my first time I was really impressed. The two young ladies behind the counter were friendly and courteous.

By far, the best pulled pork sandwich I have even had! The sauce had just a small bite to it, to go with he sweetness. So good!

Good little hole in the wall place. Would have been 5 stars if there was more pastries available. Went there because of the pic online showing a display full of goodies. Got there and it was less than half full. Just a couple cookies and bran muffins. Still decided to get lunch and i got the BLT and omg...delicious. The bread is the best part. I could eat that all day.

Best coffee! Served by the cup. Cinnamon roll is large and so delicious. Moist but crunchy outside. The frosting has a sweet unrecognizable taste of some sort, maybe armeretto? Sooooo good! The sweet strawberry cream pastry was so flaky. I would go here as often as I could if I lived nearby. Not alot room for sitting. Other menu items looked delicious.

Great bakery.. Amazing pastries and breads.. Quick lunch salads and sandwiches.. Loved the coffee.. They only have drip coffee but that's what I like and it was a quality good flavor coffee for only 1$ ...super flaky croissant.. Awesome shop

There is not much in terms of food in crescent city but this place is a hidden foodie gem. Food is made fresh and homemade. I had the falafal salad multiple times it was so tasty. All the sandwiches are tasty. You won't be disappointed here.

Stumble upon this place one morning on our trip every thing pretty much wiped out lots of items were ran out we ordered simple breakfast sandwiches and a bowl of Soup au dujour seriously took them more than 30 minutes to get it done. More customers gathering up front of the counter wondering what was going on and when we got our soup it's apparently just a cup of tomato sauce that you normally put them on spaghetti 🍝 I hate wasting the food but I couldn't finished it. Too acidic, too thick I had to thin it down by adding hot water. Left the place with the big disappointment.

Passing through and stopped here for breakfast. The service was impeccable and the breakfast options numerous. We had the chocolate chip scone and sweet cream cheese pastry. Both were delicious. The drip coffee was local and roasted perfectly.

Not from the area and was recommended this place by an acquaintance.Service was great, very friendly and happily answered my questions.I did find that while that food was okay, for the portion size and "the sides", I didn't feel that I got my money's worth for what I paid for. I ended up purchasing a slice of pie after eating my entrée since I was still hungry. All in all, an okay experience. Probably won't stop by if I'm in the area again, but would tell others it's not bad if people are looking for recommendations in the area.

Vita's is so good! I had the sausage and potato soup, pesto picnic bread (foccacia with cheesey, veggie toppings), and a ranger cookie. I could tell everything was made from scratch from the taste but the kitchen is completely open so you can see them making everything from scratch.

Glad we found this place. My husband and I both had the BLT. It was delicious. Was made on fresh bread, tomatoes were seasoned, bacon was delicious, and the sandwich came with chips. The lady who helped us was very friendly. Display cases were a little bare.

Stopped for breakfast. Wonderful quiche and pastries. Coffee was rich and flavorful. Staff is friendly and helpful. Enjoyed sitting at outside tables with my dogs.

We had a great lunch. The pulled pork sandwich was one of the best I've had. The salad was very big. The vegan sandwich was good. Everything is made from scratch. I highly recommend.

Open air kitchen and it smells wonderful when you walk in. I ordered the Cuban hot sandwich on house made focaccia bread. Was hot and flavorful. Even came with a side of kettle chips and a pickle spear. Will definitely be back.

Was heading out for a day's worth of hiking in the redwoods, and that demands a hearty breakfast. I trusted the overwhelmingly positive reviews, and gave Vita Cucina a try. Now, I'm here to post my own overwhelmingly positive review.I was immediately impressed by the fact that everything is made and prepared in house and very fresh. I ordered The Veggie with bacon and it was one of the best sandwiches I've had. The pesto really brings it together.Fast and friendly service and top notch breakfast offerings. Must try!

The hours of this establishment do not cater at all to the working public. Their hours are not convenient by far.

Delicious pastries made in house daily. Had vegetarian breakfast sandwich and the burrito. Both amazing and got a few pastries to go. The honey oat bran muffins was one of the best I've ever had. Plus had a good variety of drinks to choose from.

Whod've thought, a small town like this could kick out some seriously delicious eats. My wife and I are super happy about this place, bummed only to find out they close Saturdays +Sundays. Good for them though! I'd suggest the B-Fast burrito, they smoke all their own meat. Juice is good but the coffee is not their focus, that's OK. I'll eat more of my burrito.

Ever since they changed owners a year or two ago the quality just hasn't been the same. I don't come here often so the gradual decline of their food is more noticeable to me. After my disappointing sandwich today I don't think I'll be coming back.

Found this place looking for breakfast during weekend trip to Crescent City and certainly glad we did. Friendly service and wonderful food. The breakfast burritos were delicious. The brand muffins are soooooo good. Ended up coming here 3 days and buying extra muffins for the road.

Stopped here on my way down the 101. My girlfriend had the Turkey Pesto sandwich and I had their sausage breakfast burrito. The sandwich came with a side of chips and a pickle, though we had to ask for that as the cashier who brought our order forgot. On the whole, I was impressed with the food - everything was fresh and well-prepared with some satisfying flavors to boot. I was a bit surprised at how long I had to wait for the food - close to 15 minutes - but I was there around lunch, so perhaps it was their busy period. Worth checking out.

Great place for a quick bite to eat....they have wonderful Pizza and Homemade bread and good soups and good salads. serve a selection of food from Amazing potato salad and pasta salad , slow cooked smoked pork and variety of sandwiches .... for the sweet tooth Awesome Homemade lemon bread , Banana breads and pumpkin bread , my favorite is there moist Bran muffins with a cup of there fabulous coffee , did I mention there amazing giant cookies....in the mood for Healthy fresh juice , they serve carrot , apple ginger ect..I enjoy stopping in and grabbing a side dish and a few cookies.. Always Delicious and quick friendly service
